YOU WON'T BE TOSSED AS A COIN

It is cardinal to be diligent my son, especially in observation. To observe the principles of greatness and to do them is cardinal to your succeeding in any venture you embark upon

Youth is the time of study; it's the time to build the foundation of a quality life of studies. The sophisticated life you desire is not built on careless and thoughtless assumptions, but it is built on careful observation and strict adherence to the law of success.

Many a youth don't pay attention to the principles, they are carried away by peer pressure which is the number one enemy of youth. They sneer at those who study, and avoid those who embrace their books. They are slotful in the day and diligent at night looking for whom to swindle on the internet.

They keep vigil attending to wrong things, building their youth on the wrong foundations, and attending to things that are irrelevant.

I know a young man once who started life partying all night and spent his days courting women, his Sunday mornings were used to nurse hangovers, and the waking of the hours of Monday morning was found in the hands of a strange woman. he squandered youth as if he was the lord of it. he was prodigal with with his resources, and then I was almost tempted to follow. It looked as if the money won't finish, and just like most young men think, " THAT YOUTH IS FOREVER"  and that TIME would always be on their favor.

I  sometimes felt left out for not following him, as his life was always filled with everything a young man can desire. He had the Midas touch everything he touched was gold. he has the best of girls in school and always in the habit of changing them at will. he never gave attention to the laws that "Let us enjoy life while we are young and he was really living it up. 

MY SON, I saw him of late at the street corner, as I passed by , he bellowed on me, thinking he was a beggar I tossed him a COIN like a whores penny and off I went on my way, but also he called even louder. The pomp of youth had left him, the vigor and gay he once had was gone like yesterday never returned. the 

SUN has set on his youth and he was caught unawares by it. I couldn't recognize him.... It took a long gaze to figure him out. Recognizing him kept my mouth open out of amazement for a long while. I felt stroke by lightning.

Am grateful I didn't follow him, I was ashamed of been tempted to. Have I really achieved everything I had set out to achieve, not yet, but at least I'm not being tossed a COIN.

SON YOUTH IS FLEETING AND YOU MUST USE YOUR YOUTH TO FOCUS ON THE VIRTUES THAT MAKE LIFE WORTH LIVING. IF YOU CAN OBSERVE THE PRINCIPLES OF GREATNESS AND STAY TRUE TO YOUR DREAMS, IF YOU CAN DISCIPLINE YOURSELF LIKE THE MASTERS, AND DO WHAT THEY DID, TRULY MY SON YOU WON'T BE TOSSED  A COIN.
