The Power of TIME and Result.

TIME is a most valuable diminishing resource! What you make out of time shows as RESULT. Time is the ever present invisible opportunity to create value and Result is the summary of the use of time. It is time that gives credence and  understanding to seasons’ which  is why we can talk about seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years and more. The calculation of the use of time is what determines the value of effort. Result is the name you give to the produce or product of a stipulated Time. I read in one of my mentor’s books “if you take your bath for 15mins daily by the time you are seventy years old you would have taken your bath for 4.5 years.” This analysis and many others startled me to be conscious of time. Even you reading this, time is at work. Everything we do in life is a tenure (especially for those occupying a position or leading a project) I think its best we appreciate that and stop being unreachable because your tenure on that task, assignment, position, project, account or job is LIMITED by TIME and thru the time in your tenure your results will either be enjoyed or endured only for you to know when your tenure ends, your real RESULT will show by what the next person will be doing. Therefore TIME is an opportunity but a diminishing one.

Results create a change but dependant on what kind, it is result that analyses the use of time and have fervent power to recommend, decapitate, promote, attract, challenge and cause a resolution. Result helps value the trust invested and makes an inroad for big ticket opportunities. Every 31^st December carries a report card of various events in life, sector, work, institution and ministry. What is yours going to say?Life is a time game that is why it is called lifetime. Every passing time tells us about how much we have done and how much we need to do.  Time affords us an opportunity to recount and have memories, how many people have you encouraged?, how many you have frustrated, how many you  have embarrassed by virtue of how you have done your job, lived your life, spent your money, display your faith, managed your time, show concern, served, your spoken words, your manners, your dress sense, your family life, your ignorance, your hypocrisy and your expertise?. All this will speak either for or against you.

Why is time a diminishing resource?

Simple! TIMES FLIES & FADES! It is irreversible and irreplaceable, once it’s gone; you can only remember it for good or bad. To determine anything or everything in life you need TIME. Time makes everything history and challenges the present to dictate the future. Times scores everything be it wealth, poverty,

knowledge, greatness etc. This is the basic reason why no event or circumstance last forever, time will limit it. Only God is eternal. Ever wondered why we have probation period, promotional exams, end of day. Work hours, birthdays, Tenure, expiry date or fatigue? Time is a diminishing resource because the creator said  “surely there is an end” and so he fixed time and sealed it saying there is a time for everything….”. He said as your days so shall be your strength (Time & Result), this is where we should gun at every moment. The result oriented life. Life is a game! Why? Every game has a life span which upon expiry we see result of the use of the time in the life span. Look at your CV, Imagine a football final match or end of year target? Hmmm.. So many things went thru your mind I guess? That is just a tip of the iceberg into the power of TIME and RESULT.

Why is there always a rush when the time for a task is running out, where does the energy, the ideas, and the courage resonates from? WHAT WILL BE THE RESULT when TIME is over?

How to use TIME to get RESULT!

A famous scholar said “our lives are like identical suit cases but some compact in them than others” so we all are entitled to equal time per day but our use is unequal so our results differ. It is your result that validates the use of your time. Please put a value on your time else you will be full of emptiness. Time can either be wasted or invested.  Your result will show which category you belong time is meant to be invested and not wasted. When we waste time all of our senses cry, we talk it, we see it, we feel it, we hear it, and we even taste it. Let’s share some methods among others of investing our time:

- THINKING: Time spent thinking progressively is invested if your thoughts are documented and you are determined to work your thought. Your mind is the most powerful resource center available to you. The mind is the most sophisticated computer with unlimited memory size. One of its major functions is to THINK. Thinking is not worrying. Worrying is thinking about the things you cannot change which eventually degenerates to high blood pressure & stroke but thinking is constructively painting the mental picture of solutions to a challenge. Whatever is too big for your mind is too big for your hand.

- Exercising and Reading:  Exercise revitalizes  your body since your body is the  home of your strength. The body manifests the physical power of the mind and reading keeps you in form at all time because as you learn you grow. Waiting time can be converted to reading time whether in restaurant, lobby, in a cab or on a queue. Engage your mind and expand your horizon, the knowledge acquired will speak some day. Every knowledge is a treasure when its time for use shows up. One revelation via the study of the word of GOD can save you a lifetime of struggle.

- Observing:  unquantifiable education comes via observation.  The bulk of what we see today are recorded experiences based on observation. Observation broadens your outlook, enlarges your perspective, gives you depth of understanding and sharpens your wits to make you allergic to opportunities. Time spent observing an issue of interest is invested and the result will come with the inference you have drawn.

- WORKING: idling away only shows the emptiness inside  you, so do something  meaningful always, especially ones that tally with your vision. Idleness makes you available for experiment. God has been working, HE is still working and HE will continue to work. He neither sleep nor slumber, do you now wonder why HE is GOD? If  you want to be a god over your challenge

WORK ON IT with the whole of your heart and strength. You will surely see result.- Praising and Praying: These two weapons fatten your spirit man for exploits. By praising you acknowledge your victory and renew your strength spiritually. By praying you transfer the battle to GOD and enhance your strength for issues beyond you. This is also applicable in the formal circle illustrating that we you should Commend & admonish your team.

HAVE YOU BEEN WASTING or INVESTING TIME?  Your result will show how you used your time this year  and what will your result look like by this time next year. Remember time ticks progressively which indicates that we ought to progress with time and also know that time is passing away and the tenure is elapsing! What will be our result?
